Delivering Solutions

Since placing in The Sunday Times BT Business SME Export Track 100 Tuscor Lloyds projects team have been living up to the name. The latest export project; 1 x 50 Tonne heavy reeler and ancillaries shipped from Great Yarmouth, UK to Houston Texas in 14 days.

Tuscor Lloyds has worked closely with this particular client for many years. Our projects team have shipped similar cargoes to various destinations across the globe and so the client had no hesitation in awarding the responsibility to transport the 50 tonne reeler. The cargo was collected from Great Yarmouth UK, using a heavy low loader truck for the reeler, step frame and flatbed for the ancillaries.

Specialist Equipment was sourced for handling the cargo, including low loader trucks, step frame truck, cranes and mafi at the port. Tuscor Lloyd’s coordination ensured the cargo was loaded with precision, with the breakbulk cargo even off-loaded directly at port approximately 4 hours earlier than planned.

No sooner had the cargo begun its journey to Houston, the projects team received an almost identical shipment and we begin the process all over again. Just another typical day for Tuscor Lloyds projects team!
