Tuscor Lloyds Motoring in Mexico

Delivering Solutions

A leading Motor company recently approached Tuscor Lloyds to complete phase one of a factory relocation from South Korea to Pesqueira, Mexico.

The Mexican economy is growing, in 2014 the GDP growth rate was 2.4%. Mexico manufactures and exports the same amount of goods as the rest of Latin America combined, and that’s including Brazil. With the introduction of the North American Trade Agreement in 1994 the country now exports 78.8% of total goods to the US, so it is no surprise that Mexico recently surpassed Japan as the second largest US auto parts exporter.

With this in mind Mexico is becoming an extremely attractive business opportunity and the Tuscor Lloyds team pride themselves on enabling companies to seamlessly enter this emerging market.

For this particular project we assembled a dedicated management team with specialist experience in Construction. All the cargo was shipped as high priority using 40 ft Dry Vans and 40ft High Cube Containers, and delivered within 14 days from Busan to the Ports of Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo. The Tuscor Lloyds team were on hand to provide support and advice during the entire process with customs clearance services and delivery coordination on site. The Mexican market was an entirely new experience for our client and so our extensive knowledge of import operations and regulations was crucial.

After the cargo arrived safely in Pesqueria our team were invited to the factory to see the fruits of their labour. You can take a look at some of these images in the gallery below. All in all another successful project from Tuscor Lloyds Mexico.
